cake and tea this weekend, t mag, persimmons

Hi!!

I will be at 27 Orchard Street in the Lower East Side this Saturday 12/3 3-7 with Aimee France who made this insane cake on the right. We're having a cake and tea pop-up!!

Just a side note on this particular cake - I love persimmons.. we always had them in our house growing up this time of year because my parents wedding anniversary is Dec 5 and they went to Georgia (the country not the state) for their honeymoon so we always had in-season persimmons and Georgian wine late fall/ early winter.

Anyways back to this popup.. I'm bringing teas and teeshirts etc so please come for holiday shopping! If there's anything specific you want me to bring, let me know :) Will be serving CALM TEA and hot toddys made with it until we run out!! (I'll share the toddy recipe soon) Masha Tea will be for sale at the space this Thursday-Sunday. INCIDENTALLY, our calm tea was just featured on the T MAGAZINE GIFT GUIDE :) So we are officially and finally in the New York Times!

Yesterday morning I stopped at a friend's place to drop off a few things as we were both in our matching tea-dyed tees. Was pretty adorable. Totally get that this "season" can be a little hectic - if you want to try to stop in the studio to quickly shop before holidays, we will do our best to be around and find a time to accomodate you.
